The worst of this is that the rest of the world will never trust us again. We welched on England over the Suez Canal, which the UK built. Now, tossing Ukraine to the Russian bear? When we are attacked by China or North Korea or Russia, who will come to our aid? Europe will say what goes around, comes around.

You are not making any sense. Nobody has suggested we send troops to Ukraine. But when we are attacked, Europe will be with us if we do not break faith with NATO. We stand together, not alone.

"Nobody has suggested we send troops to Ukraine"?

Macron reaffirms possibility of sending troops to Ukraine:

https://www.france24.com/en/france/20240502-macron-doesn-t-rule-out-troops-for-ukraine-if-russia-breaks-front-lines

The US needs to get out of NATO. I am originally from the Netherlands and the Dutch needs to defend themselves. If they don't, they deserve to be left to their fate. They generally hate Americans anyway.

The EU, generally, is impoverishing itself. France and the the UK are now equivalent to America's poorest state, Mississippi, in terms of per capita income.

Continue with the mass migration, green insanity, killing your own industry. In 10,20,30 years time the EU and the UK will be economic backwaters.

I am offering my take on the mental illness of Trump and his thugs having retired after being a psychotherapist for 40+ years. These people do meet the criteria for being diagnosed as psychopaths (now called anti-social personality disorder) and having narcissistic personality disorder. While most people who have them suffer with their psychiatric disorder, people with these two don't suffer themselves. They make other people suffer. Depending on their level of sadism (another disorder), they relish watching those they inflict pain on suffer.

I hadn't thought of Trump being jealous of Zelenskyy for his youth, vigor, and good looks. I would add his popularity both in his own country, in free nations, and here. This is another reason why the grandiose (and delusional) narcissist Trump wants to dominate, and possibly destroy, him.

I hope this Substack reaches Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people. Your translation will help.

We have something in common with Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people. We are all engaged in fighting tyranny. I wrote, pessimistically, about our being on the road to tyranny in my Substack today. Here: https://halbrown.substack.com/p/were-on-the-road-to-tyranny-by-hal

I read and commented on your excellent post as well. So glad you're in this fight. I did business in Russia in the 90s, Sunday's post on that. Long story short, we've invited the KGB into the house.

Yes, it is not the person with antisocial personality disorder who suffers; it is the victims. And now, because we have been inept in standing up to bullies or all sorts, we have a mad con man as President. Our challenge is to overcome the destruction in accordance with the rule of law -- lest we become part of the problem ourselves.

Nicely done, it seems however you are the only one who understands what is going on. Unfortunately King Donald the First of the United States has spoken, his first knight Eldon Musk, a foreigner, has been given a free hand to roam about the country pillaging and burning, the rest of the round table knight have returned to their own castles with the tail between their legs , they will not for fear of losing their rule adventure out to even try and stave of the ravaging of the country

Many thanks, Sabrina, for your passion and accurate assessment of our situation. I only wish that Zelensky had offered to place a moratorium on joining NATO for a decade, which MIGHT have forestalled the Russian invasion and so many, mostly innocent civilians, lives lost. We'll never know. Also, I have spelled out the "Psychology of Donald J. Trump" (aka "Precedent Tramp") in numerous postings over the past 8 yrs., and never received a single reply, including the most recent "Why Tramp Tantrums" on "Greeley's Newsletter.substack.com". If folks just understood what makes him tick, it would change everything, if it's not too late. He is mentally ill and dangerous, as we are seeing unfold before our very eyes. Have a blessed day and may God help us. Gregg

I'm also a mental health professional (albeit retired fter 40 yrs) who, along with John Gartner, founder of Duty to Warn, Bandy Lee ,editor of The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump, Lance Dodes, who has been on Lawrence O'Donnell's show severla times and features in Salon articles (as have I), and many other have been writing about Trump's psychopathology since 2017. Everything he has done now that he feels emboldened by his reelection was predictable by those who understand the dynamics of his personality. We were warning about this before he was elected the first time. We warned about this when he ran the second time and lost. Perhaps we had an impact, though I am sure there were many factors that led to his loss. We warned again when he ran the third time. There is little satisfaction in being right.

PS: I can't locate your postings. My Most recent are on my Substack.

Thanks for the reply, although I don't understand the male pronoun references at the end. Who is the "he" who's lost 3 times? As for the inputs of mental health prof's, I have seen none since the Bandy Lee books and one other bit from two psychologists, However, none of these have ever fully explained to the general public the borderline pathology of Trump and its origin in his early childhood abandonment trauma, including the books by his niece, Mary. This is the analysis that lays down the psychological compensations that make him so very dangerous and not occasional paranoid psychotic states. As for my reference for my work on "Greeley's Newsletter.substack.com", there, now I've repeated it, but my most recent "Why Tramp's Tantrums" is a good place to start, if you're interested. Have a blessed evening.

The pronoun "he", it is likely, refers to Don J. Trump, the current President of the United States of America. He ran for the Presidency three times, but only lost once, so far. His pitiless, dishonest selfishness and overweening pride have tragic consequences for Americans and the "free" world.

Once again, you nailed it. There's big news out from recent polling. A solid majority of Americans support Ukraine and disagree with the way Trump is handling the conflict. 83% of Americans do not trust Putin. Sabrina, getting this kind of news out is only going to move people further away from Trump/Vance/Musk -- even in the "red" states and districts. So keep up the great work!
