Excellent article, Democrats need to start focusing all our attention on winning the Whitehouse and Congress, to neutralize this threat that is obsessed with destroying democracy & coming from Christofascists, billionaire oligarchs, that is amplified by Russia. (Biden has an excellent VP should he become incapacitated.)We have to ignore the distractions and focus on character issues and saving democracy from devolving into theocratic kleptocracy.
The nature of avarice and fundamentalist indoctrination is such that zealots tend to be oblivious to their own pathology, not unlike victims of substance addiction. This situation, along with overt corruption, is obviously at work in our Supreme Court, and have become features of the Trump Republican party. We must put an end to this corruption of the rule of law and injection of radical beliefs into the mainstream, that is augmented by foreign amplification, by wresting power from a right wing that is spiraling out of control into the depths of fascism. Vote for Democrats and absolutely refuse to vote for any of the numerous politicians involved with the 1/6 insurrection and refusing to peacefully transfer power.
This is what you get when you unwisely assign positions of high power to people for life ! They are allowed to become old and disfuctional or as in this case become arrogant and self serving !
